Un antico casolare a Calci, in attesa di qualcuno che lo riporti amorevolmente in vita! A former farmhouse close to Calci, waiting to be lovely restored!

Io li adoro davvero, questi rustici in abbandono, gli ultimi rimasti ormai ancora da recuperare, che non ti aspetteresti di trovare proprio lì dove finisce lo stradello, nascosti da una vegetazione ormai incalzante, con le pietre che spuntano dall'intonaco antico e scrostato, a ricordare mani sapienti che li hanno un tempo amorevolmente costruiti, per ospitare la famiglia contadina, le stalle, e l'antica soffitta dove le olive riposavano prima di essere spremute per diventare oro. Proprio sopra Calci è stato da poco messo in vendita questo cascinale che aspetta solo di essere riportato in vita, magari anche per realizzare una piccola attività ricettiva...

I really love those abandoned former farmhouses, the last on the market: you would not expect to find them just where the countryroad ends, hidden by vegetation , with stones covered by a grey and old  plaster: you always think about the skilled hands that have once lovely built that house, for the family, for the animals and to recover the olives picked before they were converted into extra vergine olive oil. This farmhouse is just waiting to be brought back to life, maybe even to make a small accommodation business ...
